Thats half the problem, a lot of people have no symptoms but are infectious.

i hope pretty much everyone on the planet knows that by this point.

what i'm interested is if there are people who are "immune" to it, like say the people that have natural resistance to hiv can get the virus but and not develop aids.

if there are people who can catch it and get over it without even realising it. cause those people, effectively, can carry on without fear of transmitting or infecting and care for the sick or undertake otherwise high-risk tasks.

Hopefully the local Rewind festival is DEAD too. Saves me making up an excuse on the day. :)

Glastonbury and Eastenders. This is really taking out our cultural icons. Don't forget Prince Philip is still alive.

I need to make a list of all the stuff I had booked that's getting cancelled so I don't forget to rearrange them :gross:

I wonder what OUR BOZZER is going to babble on about today. You could start watching these press conferences 15 minutes in and he still wouldn’t be cutting to the bloody chase.

My Asda delivery has gone from £60 to £40 due to unavailable stock. Ridiculous. All the veg was available though :side-eye:

I've really been enjoying the daily press briefings.

It's about to surpass SARS in terms of worldwide deaths. Expected but certainly a landmark moment.

Edinburgh Pride has been cancelled

I hope Brighton still goes ahead :(

This year, even when it's over, is going to be FUCKING DISMAL, isn't it?

Back from the supermarket. After 5 days of totl isolation, walking down the street was a relief. I was expecting a scene from The Walking Dead, but there were some people out there, almost everyone with gloves and many of them wearing mask. I don't know what fisting fantasy made me buy latex gloves back in the day, but I found a full box at home, thank god for that. I left home without music for the first time ever, but headphones didn't look a good idea when you are not supposed to touch your face. I didn't even check my mobile until I got back home. They had pretty much everything in the supermarket, but less variety of some products. They even had toilet paper.

It must have been lovely to get out in the fresh air for a walk if nothing else if you have been cooped up indoors for 3 days.

Yes, I live in a flat and have no garden or so. At least I have huge windows and a nice view, it's not like just the other side of the street, thank god.

Me too (apart from the huge windows part). Walking around here is fine but I'm just craving a bit of greenery and there's very little here.

Had to go in to the office today and probably will just go in everyday rather than deal with the headache of getting signatures through email. The subway was super empty, we were like 10 people in the cart.

Friends are saying I am being over cautious keeping my son off school. Unlike some I do not use school as a BABYSITTING SERVICE. He is 13 and quite self sufficient if I need to go out and leave him for a bit. I don’t care if I am being over cautious to be honest.

I can confirm that you are NOT being overly cautious and are absolutely doing the right thing. Our attendance today is at around 50%

Just been on a lunchtime stroll through the park and nobody around a usually busy area. I'm coming around to all this, can we make it permanent?
