I assume the STAY ALERT ties into what Boris is going to tell us tonight and might make more sense then. I.e. if lockdown is eased just "stay alert" if you go to a shop or whatever.

Still shit slogan and shit timing though.

God, you can really feel the British government's DESPERATION to get the economy going again. None of the caution seen in France, where we've been preparing to reopen (cautiously) tomorrow for a whole MONTH. Instead, Boris DUMPS a new, ambiguous slogan on everyone, in the hope that the confusion will lead to some nice, reckless spending somewhere or other.

Are you doing anything for the déconfinement, hun?

I have an outdoor PT session booked tomorrow. Beyond that, a couple of dinners planned for this week, a haircut at some point, and hopefully next weekend, we'll try to test the limits of 100km to see where it can take us outside the city. What about you, babe?

Who’s tuning in to our glorious leader’s statement tonight? I’m not sure if I can BARE IT.

A few apéros with friends, but that’s pretty much it. I didn’t even bother checking with my hairdresser for this week, he’s probably already all booked. And my hair can still take a few more days.

Despite insisting it was released today so he could base it on the most up to date scientific information, half of it was filmed yesterday.

Only half of it? I mean, what, has he fitted in a costume change?

I kind of thought with the change in slogan, and his announcement being at 7pm on a Sunday evening he was going to let England back out to play. Now I am not so sure.

WHO KNOWS?

Might as well watch it - I can't get settled into anything anyway, not until I know what the useless dipshit is actually going to "say".

It’s already a complete mess with every other country in the U.K. pre-emptively DISOWNING his message.

BBC blaming "science" pre-broadcast. Scientists sometimes disagree on stuff, the bastards...
