I had a few weeks blow out when the restrictions were loosened, and went for a weekend away Shannon’s 18th but other than that I am quite happy sitting in at the weekend. I think you are right. With Winter coming I really just want to HIBERNATE.

Damn right. I even bought a lovely new chunky cable knit blanket today purely for the purpose of lying on the sofa under it.

Yeah just been looking at the sexy curves of the graph - its deffos on the up, but still not wildly when in comparison to the first round.

Oh absolutely not but the first tick upwards was the result of no restrictions AT ALL.

If I didn't have such little kids I'd happily hibernate! It's tough keeping them entertained tough and I find it so claustrophobic at home all the time.

Can any of the Spanish crew confirm these are legit from the ministerio de sanidad - I've seen a few Ibizan people sharing various versions but I got tired trying to read the government site en espanol as I'm rusty as fuck.

The source is the Ministry of Health but as for the actual figures I cannot say for sure. But it is true that number of deaths in Spain has stabilized at around 150 for a few days and gone down in the last couple of days.

Could be just a dent or a trend, who knows. Worth bearing in mind that +40% of total infections in Spain come from Madrid so if they can manage to contain the deaths there the numbers should go down drastically one would think.

The one I posted was a few weeks ago and I saw another one with last weeks data on Facebook this week

There aren't many twitter videos I pause and watch frame by frame.

Manchester into tier 3 this morning. Allegedly.

Fucking bollocks. If true it won’t change until MARCH. Once you’re in you’re in. Ffs.

London in Tier 2 and Manchester will probably Tier 3.

Fun times.
Well it is barely any change from what we’ve had to put up with since July anyway. Oh well at least we got a couple of days where it was legal to see somebody in their garden...

Three quarters of all our cases in the last week have been Bristol University students in halls. And the local paper website which seems to update a 'how many cases in each council ward' feature every couple of hours seems to suggest that the areas with the highest prevalence are those where UWE students live. The overall rate is 120 per 100k, which is still low compared to most cities, isn't it?

I remember that time well. Luckily mine are mostly self sufficient these days and usually don’t need me too much unless I am getting used as a taxi service.

Local media reporting that Essex is 'likely' to be put on Tier 2.

No one understands.

I am confused. In England do pubs have to close if you are put in to stage 3 or are they going down the route of you can have an alcoholic beverage with food? I initially thought it was the former, but then read about THE PASTY DEBATE.

Donegal are heading in to Level 4 so I have lost all hope of having my family over for Christmas. :(

If they serve food they are FINE.
But the ridiculous 10pm rule still holds

Lol bye Paris and London.

Oh.

:(

This fucking virus really feels like a targeted attack at homosexuality and big cities.

No seriously, I hate how it’s accelerating the death of lively city centres.

What about a cleaner or someone coming to your house for a service like a repairman or a MOBILE MASSEUR :disco: ? That's okay to keep the economy going, right? What a load of bollocks :manson:

Can’t they just tell us to stay indoors and sleep until March? I really don’t feel like working anymore, because as nice as it is to work from home, I feel like I’ve lost the motivation.

Well yes of course, you can see your mum if you pay her to clean your bedroom :disco:
Sadly mine can’t drive 3 hours up here and another 3 hours back in a day

Well it has been in place in Manchester since end of July and had fuck all impact, apart from depressing people.

It sounds like they just put those restrictions in place in July and forgot to look at it again. :DAF:

Well it’s the north they don’t give a shit about us. They just want to look like they are doing something whether or not it actually changes anything
