That’s the thing she hasn’t had the classic symptoms. It’s been nausea/vomiting plus a fever, not much of a cough or lack of smell. She thought it was a hangover to begin with.
 
@Lucille I’d not worry about whether you gave it to her. She might have caught it in that lovely Iceland on Mare Street round the corner from the Lidl. I mean God they’re RIDDLED in there, not that I’ve been there since being kicked to the pavement and accused of shoplifting OBVIOUSLY

it's weird, I didn't feel a shortness of breath until after I had had the fever and other symptoms. admittedly I didn't move very much those days

failing senses didn't occur until after the fever had gone either
 
Ok Lesley is making quite the MIRACULOUS recovery this afternoon and I am suspecting it was just a BRUTAL hangover. Anyway tests are arriving tomorrow to be sure, so in any case it’ll be good to be 100% certain I’m clear before going back to my parents.

It sounds like norovirus. The one everyone has forgotten still exists because of that other virus.

It's known for causing horrendous stomach issues but lasting less than 24 hours.
 
I think that’s likely, she got it the day after eating in a restaurant, other than that neither of us has had much social contact outside of work.
 
Parents are going to isolate for 6 days, I'm going to isolate for 6 days and then they drive down here and stay at my place for Christmas (driving for 5-6 hours isn't an option for me yet, having had surgery last month).

It's not a tiny flat by any means but I wouldn't say it's a flat that's cut out for 3 people, really but: more than one room, so hopefully we'll manage (FAMOUS LAST WORDS).

The pfizer one, I believe. She'll get her second in 3 weeks.

@Ellie the NHS only do one procedure a day. It's an OAP exercise class tomorrow, ingrowning toenail op on Thursday, a boob enlargement on Friday, off for the weekend and next week is all booked up with appointments for people looking for emotional support animals.
