Not to draw gender-based stereotypes, but Mums are fucking insane around Christmas.

Maybe it's a sign. This wedding I'm supposed to be attending on 28th isn't happening, is it? This will be the third time they've had to postpone![]()
Maybe it's a sign.
Fortunately for Mopsy our Tischuan managed to tie the knot during these crazy times.

The one I was meant to go to on that date has been postponed. I am glad though, meant I didn't need to buy a suit. This wedding I'm supposed to be attending on 28th isn't happening, is it? This will be the third time they've had to postpone![]()

You don't have a car do you? When I was quarantined but didn't have any symptoms, I drove to an empty area so I could walk around to not lose my mind. That seems unlikely in London thoughFormer COVID QUEENS, what day do you usually lose your mind? It’s only day three and I’m close, but don’t want to PEAK TOO EARLY.
I basically stopped socialising around a week and a bit ago and was so paranoid about getting it that i’d been melodramatically wearing a fucking FFP2 mask in the communal areas of my flat ... mainly because the flatmate I talk to the most works in a frontline service and is in contact with people all the time.I’m really concerned about getting it before Christmas now. I know I had it relatively recently but I’m not sure how much that really matters with Omicron and my booster won’t have kicked in yet.
I’m doing all I can to limit social contacts, public transport and all the rest of it between now and then, but my flatmate (who hasn’t had Covid yet except maybe the original strain way at the start) is going out almost every night, including some Christmas parties that are still going ahead.
I have asked that we both test every day but I feel it would be unreasonable to ask for any more even though I’m not thrilled about the situation.

I just rather enjoyed just catching up on all the Netflix series I didn’t have time for before. I was too sick to work but not sick enough to be delirious. Then again it was January and I think we were in that tiered lockdown thing anyway. No possibility of FOMO.Former COVID QUEENS, what day do you usually lose your mind? My flatmate has been coughing and spluttering all over the place for days now. We’ve both had multiple negative LFTs and I haven’t even caught her cold - last week I was dosing up on Vicks First Defence so it must have done the trick.
I think I’m going to cancel all my cinema weekend plans, have asked to work from home next week despite going in for well-being purposes. Desperately trying to stay away from her now. I think she just has a super weak immune system.

When is she booked in for?If spawn's gets cancelled again that'll be three times and her wedding venue said if it's cancelled again she loses all her money and they have no obligation to give her another date. That really isn't a route they want to start down ...
When is she booked in for?

Bit late isn't it! Christmas is 6 days away?!
It feels like the compliance for a lockdown is at an alltime low, with people who previously complied now saying no.
