Corrie 2025

I don’t think Eva was entirely useless and definitely had potential. I think Daisy was an a lot better character but I see why they are bringing Eva back and hopefully they have better storylines for us. How long before Michelle Collins quits as Cindy and turns back up on the cobbles?
 
Oh 100% Eva is only back because Daisy quit

I'm not convinced they would be that bothered about Michelle Collins though, especially if Eva is already coming back with a different mother figure - I don't remember Stella being much lauded other than initial bemusement at her accent?

The non wedding was terrible! Really bad episode. I find Dev and Bernie a really odd pairing

I did kinda enjoy the last scene though with them dancing in the Bistro :disco::D (makes me laugh how EVERY wedding is at the Bistro or Debbie's hotel)
 
The Bistro has always been one of the least convincing sets.

It's pitched as an upmarket venue, but imagine a knicker factory worker scrimping & saving for months to afford a BOUGIE TREAT, and then saying "fuck it I'm just going to go over the road AGAIN to be scowled at by Leanne Battersby"

That looks like the two hander episode from 2007 just before Tracy went to prison for murder (out just 3 years later) :) It was a brilliant episode with great writing from a time when the show was still good. Even though the Tracy killing Charlie storyline was absurd, there were some good moments. Deirdre is so missed :(

Back to current day and I did not see that coming with Carl! :D
 
Todd never used to let anyone push him around. Theo has got nothing about him that should make Todd not send him packing!

I've just got this feeling that Lisa's ex is going to turn out to still be alive, and Tia Wardley is her new name.
 
Who is she meant to be? Corrie is only background noise for me most of the time these days and I don’t pay attention.

I think early Carla could be in my top 10 fave characters ever

It's not on that clip but I remember a fantastic scene with Becky (Katherine Kelly) at the bar when they both confided in each other

I saw this for a couple of minutes in the week and was not amused at Carla becoming a rubbish Lesbain.

I just read somewhere that Eva Price is coming back. Might have to start watching again :disco:
 
I really don't like this Becky character. They should have just left her dead.
