Could you kill a lobster?

All I'm saying is if you see a pot with some nice gently rotting fish in it keep moving.

I'll elaborate on my lobstercide for the purpose of prosperity. A few years back on a camping trip we rustled a pot somewhere in wales while out drunk on a mates boat, it had a baby in which we set free but we took the adult lobster and a nice big crab home to cook.

Being the chef and a heartless killer I took responsibilty for the prep.

I stuck the lobster in some ice to stun it while I prepared to dispatch it with my spanish hunting knife later.

By the time it was time, I was pretty wankered, it was dark and I was commiting the act in the back of a VW sprinter van by torch. I positioned the knife at the back of the head for a clean and painless kill but missed and the entire lobster spasmed in the a way the signified my aim of it being painless had failed miserably.

Soz.

The preciousness of some of the replies in this thread have made me realize I probably could. I don’t have any plans to, but they’re basically just big bugs, and most people kill bugs cruelly

I would love to dispute the precious allegations but I once killed a moth by accident as a child and now I can't go into a butterfly house without feeling like I'm going to have a panic attack :D

Butterfly houses are horrible though. I mean obviously butterflies are lovely, but there's no way I can resist the urge to keep slapping myself if I feel something land on me.

I went to the one in Stratford-Upon-Avon was not popular.

Can't believe our Vickeh is a vegan Buddhist who sweeps the ground before walking on it to prevent the mindless MURDER of insects.

I made lunch but am finding it too lux and salty, have had to give up on it. I should have had bland bland lobster instead.
