Mr Ag is mowing the lawn (rare) and we're off to Frinton for some beach time and a meal at a middle Eastern restaurant soonish. Pleasing!

I was going to go for a nice walk but already to hot so attempted gardening - that lasted about 20 minutes. Last night I attempted to eat an over sized roast meal in what amounted to a nightclub, with loud pounding music and people dancing on tables, I honestly thought I was in a coma at one point because it was all so bizarre and out of body.

I've been out and spent £100 in the supermarket and I only bought 12 bottles of beer and some BITS AND BOBS

Replaced my car battery, done a food shop and was contemplating gardening but I’ve sacked that off. Going to a BBQ later :disco:

Signed up to Paramount+ yesterday so I can watch the Star Treks, loaded it on to the telly and all was good. Tried to put the app on the Playstation 4 last night and you can't have it in the UK (I blame Brexit). If I want to watch it upstairs I'm going to have to cancel this subscription and set up a new one through Amazon Prime. Knew it was too good to be true when it only took ten minutes to set up.

I've made a batch of cocktails that my husband is now working his way through.

I spent about thirty seconds outdoors and have come back to bed with a damp flannel on my forehead.

I was tempted to head down to the south coast as it's a sensible 22°C in South Devon. But fuck getting on a bank holiday train in this weather.

Mr F traipsed downstairs in "outside clothes" so I asked where he was going. He said he was going to strim the garden so would I move the car off the drive please. I asked whether he knew how hot it was out there, he said no and went to the front door to check. Came back in seconds later and said he'd do it later in the week while I was at work. I hadn't been out either but Glynn from across the road had walked past wearing just shorts (this is not a sight anybody wants to see, he's my height, so skinny you can see his ribs and whiter than I am) and that only happens when we're on a hot weather warning.

Went on a 2 hour cycle, so quite excited that I can keep this going to build my stamina up again in time for resuming my sports club activities. Had to take the front wheel off to fit the bike in my car - I almost felt butch, not least because I got oil and dirt on my arms. Even more excited to see if I get a tan (had a vest on, but shades and cap on so probably not going to have a warm glow on the face). Only had one slightly wheezing moment, but I was really going for it up a hill (slightly scared when a shirtless wonder started shouting, I think, to encourage me).

On way back from the beach. Was busy but not so offensive that it was bad. The meal was delicious.

I think I've hit my Frinton era.

Was that you who went past my house earlier? I shouted you to drop down a gear because your legs were going like the clappers and you were barely moving? Was the shirtless wonder Glynn of the tinribs? 😂

Its so fucking hot in this bedrooM, i’ve already had a cold shower but its like a still day in the Sahara in here.

I've done all the things you should do today. Woke up with a hangover, had a BBQ, spent the evening the garden drinking, got drunk again.
