If you live 14 miles out in the East like we do it's not too bad. Average 3 bed terraced about 400k now though. A one bed flat in C. London is 200 a week now.

Never buy an octopus to cook even if you have 8 guests... Takes hours and hours to boil and a fortune in gas or leccy. Wife's friend bought one and I said it's cost 5 times more in leccy than I bet you paid for it....think I upset her. Tough as hell too, very rubbery.

Same for a pig's head, complete with eyes and snout, takes ages in the oven then she slung it, said it wasn't nice.
