So... we've managed to narrow down our massive list of 37 to 16 in the shortlist and they are:
BORIS JOHNSON (with 14 nominations) - He made January's shortlist and was the 2019 winner... will you dare put him through to the final while he's on his death bed?
BRITS ABROAD (with 11 nominations) - An interesting nomination that we've never nominated before.
CANCER (with 7 nominations) - Also never been nominated before, but I'm pretty sure we can all agree, it's pretty shit.
CORONAVIRUS (with 18 nominations) - It's rare inanimate objects make it this far... but we seem to be making an exception for this fucker.
DAN WOOTTON (with 10 nominations) - missed out on the shortlist in January by 2 votes, but makes it in this time easily enough. Will we send him to the final?
DONALD TRUMP (with 19 nominations) - 2019 Runner-Up - makes it to the shortlist for a second consecutive month.
FINLAND (with 7 votes) - JUSTICE FOR CICCIOLINA
JULIA HARTLEY-BREWER (with 11 votes) - incredibly, she was never nominated in 2019 - but makes the shortlist for the second consecutive month in 2020.
KATIE HOPKINS (with 13 votes) - the highest placing female of 2019, coming in 5th place. She once again makes the shortlist... I'm not even sure why. Just for existing I assume.
MIKE ASHLEY (with 11 votes) - first time nominee.
PIERS MORGAN (with 9 votes) - Came 12th place overall in 2019. Back in the shortlist AGAIN.
PRITI PATEL (with 15 votes) - last year's 2nd highest placed female, coming in 6th overall in 2019, Priti Patel is also back...
RICHARD BRANSON (with 8 votes) - a businessman that has rarely faced Moopy's wrath: until now.
THE D*ILY M*IL (with 11 votes) - somehow didn't receive a single nomination in 2019, but they're back with a vengeance in the shortlist.
TIM MARTIN (with 13 votes) - last year made the end of year top 20 - and looks like he has another good chance of making the final for 2020.
TOBY YOUNG (with 9 votes) - first time in the shortlist for this utter cunt.
