I’m in that weird state of wanting time to go quickly so I can get to Paris but being scared the Olympics will be over before I’ve had time to watch everything I want

I am also so fucking tired. My big client went absolutely mental yesterday and I did about 40 jobs for them. Amazing financially, but entirely didn’t warn me about it. I’m EXHAUSTED!

Back to work tomorrow - but I'm also quite looking forward to it after three weeks off.

I've made peace with the fact that I probably won't see as much of this year's Olympics as I did in the past (Rio and London in particular had me glued to the screen for a fortnight) but that's OK.

I was all inclusive so I was too lazy to do all of the exploring I wanted. Also, I love basking in extreme heat like a reptile so the longer I'm there, the more delicious vitamin D I'll get.

I have a little trick for dealing with this - all you need to do is set fire to your house, dissolve all of your possessions in acid, have the military mustard gas your entire street, then move to Reykjavik.
