It's half-baked. Like a lot of Sia's songwriting, she finds a hook first and writes a song around that. Sometimes it catches fire, other times it's very "will this do?" This is the latter.
I can envisage a mild bussy pop after some beers though.

This sounds so reductive after the beautiful nostalgia of the Tension album. Sia sounds stuck in 2010.
Also maybe it’s because of her wonderful roots in angsty melodic singer songwriter mode, but I can never take to Sia doing upbeat pop. Her voice goes from rich, layered and vulnerable to just irritating. It’s quite the transformation.
