Caught up with this in its entirety over two days post sickbed and finding it a more enjoyable watch than the boys to be honest. Being of LESBIAN EXPERIENCE means that is hardly surprising but I also think the cast are marginally more likeable? I don’t dislike any of them whereas with the boys last year I couldn’t stand the pasty little Manchester gay and the dreadful Scottish one that everyone fancied for some reason.
Absolutely here for my girl Amy’s journey towards MAIN CHARACTER status. Initially I was so put off by her with all the “oh i’m posh and femme4femme - it’s so much harder than being butch!” stuff but this girl is MADE for television. Interestingly she’s blossomed into one of the types of girl i’m often quite attracted to (tall, a bit glam but not too much, completely mental) rarely go for IRL because they’re just straight, or i’m just intimidated and about a foot shorter than them.
I’m actually annoyed there aren’t more crunchy and chaotic little short hair mascs in there. The only reason Fiorenza is causing such chaos is due to the lack of competition.
On the others - they are all very YOUNG but I think Georgia comes across as probably the easiest to get along with IRL and I find her oddly attractive despite football lesbians generally scaring the shit out of me / not being my type at all. I thought the backlash against the Priya and Naee for sending home Lisha and Abbie (totally correct decision - they had absolutely no idea how to communicate and are/were doomed) was uncalled for.
