Dark Carnival’s Drag Race Down Under vs The World thread

Yet again a pretty rotten Snatch Game on the whole, with some really dreadful characters - the Universe? Mary Jane?? Bette Midler with an Australian accent?! Art Simone was a deserving winner but most of the rest of it was painful to watch.
 
Yeah I think I'm done. Another painful episode.

Art did a good Kath, but that was the sole bright spot.

I did appreciate Michelle actually encouraging the queens to go with their strongest character rather than derailing them. (Not that it helped!)
 
Oh and the palpable disappointment at the announcement of the Z-list guest judge.

"Star of The Lord of the Rings... of Power" :D
 
This is easily one of the WORST Snatch Games in the history of the show.

Also that dress Michelle wore was fucking atrocious. Whoever is styling her needs fired.
 
The skit of the judges before Michelle beckoned the girls back was painful. There is no imagination coming from all sides.
 
Hard work indeed. Pleased Nikita Iman has gone at least. She really sucks the energy out of the room.
 
According to Courtney Act, they didn't even film this in Australia. It was all done in Portugal.

I guess that makes sense, given the international presence.

Aren’t some of the international franchises filmed in Colombia or something? Because it’s cheaper there.

It was the WIG that got me. She looked like the dark one from The Reynolds Girls.
 
I'd rather jack (off to the OG baldy Down Under pit crew, who I did find out does porn incidentally) than have Michelle back. Give it to Courtney and actually pour some life into proceedings.

And um... Lawrence Chaney and a lip sync to UK Hun? Where they edited out Bimini's verse?
 
An absurd editing job with dubbed laughter pasted on (especially with the yoyo-ing of saying a performance is bad, then it's good, etc, versus the "reaction" we get served when the scenes play) and trying to dramatise a subdued exit. UK Hun was never a bop - I'd have refused to lipsync to something to limp and derivative.
 
Michael’s little tribute to Cherry Valentine made the UK Hun lip sync worth it. I loved that
 
The three scenes weren’t actually that shit. Felt for poor Flor. VYBE should have gone as she’s simply been average/shit all series (yet better that Coco ever was).

Lawrence remains on my hate list
 
Just (well, not 'just' at all, but it's so commonplace) being told to die or kill himself. Seemingly by one particular nationality of fams, but I don't know which.
