I was OBSESSED with this still very good pop album when I was a little Sheena and though it's twee and 80s as fuck, a charity shop- induced spin of this and Electric Youth this morning have told me it stands up RATHER WELL.

I bought this on a school trip to Trouville Sur Mer with my final francs. It was either this or Sabrina by Sabrina, I only had enough for one so went with Debs. I remember showing it off on the coach, the signs were all there folks. I also remember (what I realise now) was an inappropriate comment about her by one of the male teachers.

A very fine pop album, I’m surprised you only gave Play The Field a 6 though.

I haven't listened to the album more than a couple of times, but she did have some TOP NOTCH singles. It always annoys me that Shake Your Love doesn't bother with a key change until the fade-out though.

It's the weakest by a mile for me. I still like it, though...
