TOTAL THROWBACK but @The Anti-Dubsden got me on a little Deep Dish FIX thanks to his mention of Dreams with Stevie - which is nice and all, but hardly a patch on FLASHDANCE 
I was quite obsessed with this back in the day. It was probably one of my first proper fixations on dance music, having been strictly a mini pop queen until my early teens.

It really is quite delicious. Reminds me quite a lot of Paul Oakenfold and Brittany Murphy's Faster Kill Pussycat, which came out a couple of years later, and also Chicane's Stoned In Love (A BANGER). It's all about the bassline and that driving rhythm. GOOD STUFF.
I also loved Say Hello which wasn't quite as big but was a lovely melancholy stomper.
