My covid had literally just come back as negative thankfully. Still got a fever of 39 though. At least I can send the kids nursery and relax!

I was always super envious of my sister's ability to sleep anywhere at any time. I can never switch my brain off..it takes ages to power down/exhaust itself.

Feeling chipper now I'm actually up, it just felt like such a long night. You're right I don't think it's a cold as I'm not snotty at all, but defo some sort of bug, I'm sure it's what Kylie had at the weekend.

I tried that but I keep paying attention to the damn podcasts!

I remember when Radio 3 did an all night broadcast of Max Richter's 8-hour "Sleep", which is designed to be slept through. I thought - good idea. Ended up having a really broken non-sleep with occasional cat-naps because I found the music too interesting!!

I'm generally awake a couple of times in the night with them, and then up for about 6am. My days are just non stop, so I'm shattered by 8pm!

I don't even get home until 7.30pm on the days I work but I literally come home eat, go to bed at 9pm, sleep by 11.

I'm just part time at the moment, 3 days a week, currently we pay out more in nursery fees each day than I earn, so I'm just working for my sanity really!

Customers are still vile though. I just feel overall that everyone seems a bit more short tempered and not so kind recently, even on here sometimes

I have heard childcare is ridiculously expensive. I think I'd just quit work. But I can see why being at home all the time would be hard.

And yep I totally agree. Ours are just getting worse and worse and more impatient. Not allowing them in the building is not helping matters.

I keep hoping it will get better, but it never does.
