Well if it IS all self-funded then she’s clearly not short of a bob or two if her Eurovision performance is anything to go by so however you think it may sound, it’s presumably by design.

The Australian broadcaster is tiny, it’s like if our entry were funded by BBC Alba. Traditionally they have very little budget to throw at performances unless it’s supplemented by a record label or the artist themselves.

Either way, I genuinely don’t hear what’s so cheap about this, or about Eclipse.

If you’re using cheap as euphemism for basic, then yes I can definitely hear that loud and clear in both compared to what she’s done before, but I feel that’s a creative shortcoming (by way of both clearly being written “for Eurovision”) rather than a monetary one.

I'm watching her closing ceremony perf from the Commonwealths. Shame nobody knew these games existed this time round or it might have been a good gig for her.

Her tour dates seem to have sold pretty well. Factor in a decent Strictly run and she's upped her profile pretty considerably this year.

Yes I didn't even know she was closing the Commonwealths but it seems gig after gig here for her which is good and not small too

It looks like she's about half sold the Bath venue. Which doesn't strike me as too bad, ahead of the Strictly exposure.

Surely that’s a good result for her? She definitely has increased her touring profile here the last few years, but am I right in thinking she hasn’t actually released a (physical) album since 2004 here? So she’s certainly doing very well these days in relation to that.
