I slept badly too. Ever since my Mum died, I've had dreams my parents hate me or are abusive (physically) towards me and last night was a fucking HUMDINGER, but then yesterday was the first anniversary of her not waking up (not quite dying yet...that's Saturday) so I'm not surprised. Fucking EXHAUSTING, though I logically am not worried about it meaning they hated me or anything like that.

ANYWAY, MORNING Been to the gym, prepping for six weeks in Mexico. ALSO FUCKING EXHAUSTING

You have my sympathy. Mine rolls up in dreams sometimes too - early this week she was bowed at a doorway in a distressing way, when I returned she was gone. Which is just super thanks very much my brain (in real life she absconded through an unlocked door 7 years ago and threw herself in a river) - good times. Sigh.

I'm going out for dinner, but for lunch I've got leftovers from last night's dinner which is a chicken breast, mashed swede and blue cheese cauliflower cheese.

YES, I am trying to eat down the freezer before I go away.

I'm obsessed with these summer storms - the light rains, the sun poking through, the winds, the pale sky late at night. it's glorious after all the recent heat.

I realised in less than 3 weeks it's already the longest day of the year. heartbreaking!
