surprised to see how much vitriol there is towards her. if anything i feel a bit bad for her and/or am genuinely confused how distorted her (or my) perception of what looks good is.

i'm sure if she just finds some decent light and stops pulling ridiculous faces she'll look just fine (or at least much better).

Maybe I'm really fucking dumb, but I've come to the conclusion that it's US who is wrong. YES, she looks a state, but she KNOWS she looks a state. I think the ridiculous Instagram pics/angles are a way of saying "FUCK YOU". She knows she's old and the only way to deal with that is to own it. I want to see someone ask her about plastic surgery and see how she takes it. If she says "Course I have, it's my body, I'll do what I want" (as she seemed to say after the supposed arse implant shots), then I actually think "Fair enough"- she's Madonna, she's earned the right to do what the CUNT she likes...

that's certainly one explanation but i think it's more likely to be some kind of body dysmorphia - i'm sure there's a term for when you start doing plastic surgery and slowly get used to all the new tweaks even though they become more and more extreme and you're suddenly so far off from your original face that it's very dramatic and obvious to people that don't see you daily.

that's the aspect of this that interests me. i don't get the hate. she can obviously do whatever she wants, it's just a shame that she's someone who stood for so much more than bad butt implants (if those are still a thing).
 
I’d love a good honest interview with her it’s been a while and they are usually crap, in fact I think one of the last decent interviews she did was in Attitude with confessions where you could tell she liked the guy and he was a fan asking her stuff .
Maybe this rumoured Netflix documentary will shed some light
