I used to live near a Nisa in Brighton and as local shops go it offered excellent value.

We've got a Nisa down the road but it's weirdly laid out. You have to go up a flight of stairs.

So do you need to go up the stairs BEFORE you enter the shop?

Colour me BAFFLED, and INTRIGUED.

There's a local co-op near to me that has a WHITE GOODS SECTION, which seems utterly out of place.

"I'll have 20 B&H, something ethical and a washing machine please"

This is the best I can find but you can see that the shop floor is on the far right window which is higher than the door

No idea how to rate it. I don't get how this was #1 worldwide, checking wiki says it went at least top 10 (mostly #1) everywhere except here where it peaked at #17. No surprised at all :eyes: I only know it because I'm very into music and have it in some compilation, but I don't think I ever heard this on the radio, far from a classic here. So I'll rate it as "I don't care".

There's another co-op near me that has an underground car park.

Talk about ideas of grandeur.

I've clearly never LIVED.

Although I've been in that Tesco in central London that is just one long aisle.
