You’d truly have a hard time finding any film performance from the last six decades of cinema that’s more genuinely iconic than Annie Hall. It was paradigm shifting, and I think most everybody involved in the film acknowledged that it largely came from her.

Looking for Mr Goodbar is one of my favourite films and her performance in it is utterly heartbreaking. I got the fancy new Vinegar Syndrome bluray for my birthday this year so may have to finally crack that open in honour.

So shocked at this, despite her age. I think she was such a legend with such star quality and as Meryl Streep said - something like so known for wearing so many clothes and keeping covered up but so transparent in how authentic she is.

Diane was one of those that you knew was getting older, and actually, as part of her strength felt a little older and mature even when younger, but always felt like she'd always be here like a constant.

Woody Allen has issued a remarkably poignant and heartfelt tribute to Keaton which I won't post here given that he is such a controversial figure.

Suffice to say, I plan on watching an Annie Hall and Manhattan double bill tonight (fuck, I adore those films, despite the latter being so contentious).
