Well this is a little impromptu but since I’m still stuck under quarantine I thought I’d throw this out there.

I’d been thinking about this for a while but never quite got around to it, but in the words of the revered Ms Shanny Twanny, why not?(!)

Don't start until 12.00 BST dear

Just another bump to raise awareness etc

I think I will go for Sunday, I’m feeling I leeeeettle bit stressed out trying to rush this together, and the pills are making me sleepy too.

I hope @ButterTart can make it tomorrow - but if you were waiting expectantly, by all means rewatch one of my older ones -
I recommend No3!

Don't trip over
I've just finished the second Evangelion rebuild movie, so I'm baffled and ready to go

IS anyone else here, or is this going to be like my Ayumi sync disaster? Otherwise I'll just pass the baton to Haiku

CHAPTER ONE - DYNAMIC MOTION

Perfume - Plasma

Perfume always have great intros, and new album "Plasma" was no exception. I can't get enough of this one, and if this doesn't titilate you a little bit, then I don't think we are in the same headspace at all. Stream Plasma (the album, not the white-hot state of matter).

I know it's weird starting with one without a video but it's great and short.

Any of these thread watchers going to weigh in?

Plasma was a bit vibey for my tastes. Tits out hooks and bops please

It's grown on me, but I guess I have to realise it's an evolution - although it does feel like a bit of a pot pourri of their older stuff. Agreed though, more bangerz needed

Wednesday Kampanella - Aladdin

I admit I was pretty crushed when "Ra" flopped at ASFM, I thought Moopy would love it. I still do, and while Wednesday Kampanella's experimental back cat isn't always for me, "Aladdin" had a lot of the same traits that made me fall in love with "Ra". I wish the singer hadn't changed these days though.

Sekai no Owari - Habit

Sekai no Owari (End of the world) are a hugely successful Tokyo 4-piece, with acclaimed live performances and experimental music styles. Also one of them is a clown. That aside, Habit is the latest smash for them, along with a popular TikTok bum-shaking dance.

Denki Groove - Fake it

I admit I was pretty annoyed when "Shangri-La" megaflopped at ASFM, I thought Moopy would love it. I still do, and while Denki Groove's experimental back cat (and recreational drug use) isn't always for me, "Fake it" has the same sort of 90s dance crunch that made me fall in love with "Shangri-La". It really puts me back in the era of Basement Jaxx and Chemical Brothers, which I was happy to hear was happening in Japan at the same time.

I'm on Perfume - Flow

Perfume - Flow

YEAH WELL the first one was only an intro, and I just wanted to. I just love these girls so much, very excited to see them on the Plasma Tour next month. So as a treat, to close the first chapter, here is another lush electronic slice of dreamy pop.
