yeah, mind you I heard that a long while ago, I don’t think it means profoundly deaf or anything. I think if it had been really serious, she would’ve jacked it in, but she’s still going I think.

this is a country where pop stars retire like sports stars. Namie Amuro was a huge star and she retired at the end of 2018(?). I think it’s a contract thing, it’s always midnight on New Year’s Eve they retire!
