Splendid. Whenever it comes on my iPod on the train I have to resist the urge to start writhing around. Something I'm really bad at. I generally dance in my seat when a good song comes on.

Oh we used to sing this all the time at school. I love how they had to redo the video in a more demure version for the UK where she was covered up, the original is hardly that salacious; just cleavegey. I prefer their early stuff though, a huge loss to Aussie rock when Chrissie Amphlet(?) died.

I know it's completely true outside Australia but this still makes me

Divinyls are such an incredible band beyond and including this song. There is not a single Australian female or female-fronted act who has been more influential (again, within Aus only). Kylie or The Seekers might have been more successful but they had 1/10th of the impact.

I've never seen my boyfriend as upset as he was when Chrissy died. Truly an inspiration to every disgusting slut who came after her :disco:

Only Human on the Inside is their biggest keeper for me, it's stunning. Not a fan of Touch Myself, or the song she tossed off to Cyndi Lauper, Like A Cat.

One of many songs I was very familiar with before its release thanks to America's Top 10.

A definite highlight in any Steinberg/Kelly top 18 tunes countdown.

I had no idea they originally recorded The Pretenders' Human until SorB told me a few years back.

America's Top 10 was life, though it lost its way big time when U2 bashing Casey Kasem left, I think the show then quickly came to an end.

He was absent for a lot of 1990 with Siedah Garrett taking over. Watching her try to feign interest in announcing Please Hammer Don't Hurt 'Em was number one week after week after week after week after week after week after week was quite dull.
