This was the first Editors song I heard and I was instantly smitten. I saw them in Norwich Arts Centre before they were big and the singer married Edith cunting Bowman and they went all U2 and wank.

I never got why this song was called Munich.

But it's great isn't it. Their best. They also SNAP with their modern day stuff which the vast majority of today's playlist don't.

Wikipedia says he is from Nottingham but met Martin Gore in Basildon in 1980. And apparently Martin Gore went to Nicholas Comprehensive, Basildon. Could that be him?
