Bloody trickle treaters. Freya was dressed in white on Halloween night, so if you recognise that description.

One reason I keep Facebook is all the groups I'm in making fun of the local group moaners :D

I also always used to call it Trickle Treating :D
These local groups are full of some of the most MISERABLE and HATE FILLED people on the ENTIRE PLANET.

Still into it! Still too lazy to actually make an effort for it!

I have no beef with the concept but its just become an opportunity to sell piles of plastic crap destined to be used once and thrown away.

I'm going to Flying Tiger tomorrow to see if I can get some cheap spooky lighting.

I kind of care for Halloween, the spirituality of it is rather interesting, but not really done trick-or-treating. This year I have a few Halloween sweets, and at uni I just draw on oranges rather than get pumpkins, haha. At home we nearly always have a carved pumpkin lit at night :disco: 🎃🕯️
The last time I properly dressed up was nearly 10 years ago 😅 and I even won for some spooky dressing up evenings when I was younger, one year as a cat, and another as a witch (the main option) :D

Love Halloween, it’s fabulous and camp.

Costume wise I think I peaked last year with my drag Chucky. I will reuse it because it was too good not to but I rested it this year and went as a spider

The only thing stopping me from getting all costumed up is wearing that shit for ONE night and then having to throw it away. Apart from that, I love it.

I see no point to Halloween unless you have small children around. However one of our newer members of staff spent half an hour cutting ghost shapes out of copier paper this morning and has stuck them to various office windows (not mine) and the front door. Nobody who's been in has even commented on them so she's feeling a bit put out. I told her they were cute to try and make her feel a bit better, I was lying though, they're crap.

We went trick or treating with the kids, I was suprised at how many houses actually take part and put deco out to encourage the kids to the door.

Dress up for it (VR)

Utterly ambivalent about it (IRL)

That's how I see it. It's an opportunity to have fun with themed avatar customisations in VR ("dressing up") but in IRL it's pretty much a kids' thing.

always find Halloween tough. In 1999 I went missing on Halloween night and my mum tried to have a whip round to raise funds for my search and rescue but she couldn’t raise more than a fiver

Did they ever find you?

Just in time for my school science project :disco:
