Omg literally same here! I started eating them from around the age of 20 but avoided them before then. I still absolutely can't abide peanuts but everything else is fine.

Favourites are hazelnuts, pistachios walnuts and pecans.

I also avoided Lion Bars till about two years ago because I was convinced they contained peanuts when it's actually cereal bits! Now I can't get enough/making up for lost time.

I had this beautiful looking pistacchio based pasta dish a few months back in Naples that tasted awful but was still a good deal better than the zesty orange risotto.

Put me off pistacchio for the rest of the trip.

No it was a main. I've had fruit based risotto before that was nice but this was a step too far. The staff were lovely but just pushing the bar with flavours.

I generally don’t mind some nuts in my food but people sometimes over do it. Also I never understood adding nuts for crunch in cooking shows, they do not crunch.
