Do you like to wear slippers around the home?

In my day sliders were these:

Am I weird because I always bring flip flops whenever I stay in hotels, even if I have to cram them into my hand luggage? I'm getting an anxiety attack just thinking about waking barefoot on a hotel carpet...

Why don’t you pop them in your suitcase?
 
I'm not a fan of slippers, I feel like they make my feet sweat. I prefer nice fluffy socks in the winter. In the summer I go bare foot, which is fine but I hate feeling bits on the floor on my feet, like cat litter 🙄

If I'm in a hotel or self catering I have to wear socks or flip flops. Because walking bare foot on someone else's floor is wrong.
 
I’d only pack flip flops if I were going to have a beach day or two. I’d wear trainers to the beach though and only put the flip flops on once I reached the sand.

Flip flops and sliders are different footwear to me.

For hotels I’d just wear the slippers they provide if walking barefoot on their floors or wear my socks rather than pack my own extra footwear as my cases are usually already full to the brim. I can’t master travelling light.
 
When I worked at Freeman Hardy Willis (seriously), gorilla slippers were always a big seller

Yes I do 😊 I call them slippers (also flip-flops or sandals, rather than sliders). Occasionally barefoot, but my feet get cold too often, even in summer 😅
In the winter, I like the cosy boots or fluffy slippers, but these days, flip-flops (sometimes with socks!) 🧦🩴

I've not worn a kimono myself before 👘, but it's a nice look for Enya 🤗 I go for a long silk dressing gown over pyjamas, with the socks and slippers :D

OMG I didn't know I could do that!

It's when I'm travelling with hand luggage only, especially when it's colder and my jumpers and trousers and shoes already take up so much space in my bag. I can't walk in socks either because then all that dirt and those germs on the carpet would be on my socks :confused:

I only just realised that they have a website though!
