This. Also hate days and weeks of continuous rain that make you feel trapped in a constant late evening. Other than that just a vitamin D deficiency but that's permanent all year round.I hate that I leave home in the dark and leave work in the dark.
Oh the constant rain and wind is very depressing. I'm usually ok up until Christmas because I pretend to love Christmas to cheer myself up.This. Is SAD exclusively for the dark months or is it any season? Because I’ve noticed that august-September seems to be a bit of a time for me in recent years
I get that too some years, and it’s not too strange, the shift from August to September is like the Sunday to Monday of the year (that could be January too), even though I love September.
And I also could get a bit overwhelmed/melancholic in early spring when the days get longer. I don’t know why, but I think it has to do with a sense of something changing fast.
Where do you live? 3 hours of sunlight sounds bleakMy seasonal depression gets really really bad in Winter. Usually it starts around November when it gets darker. There's just no light at all, maybe for about three hours in the daytime if I'm lucky. Usually it's just grey and bleak outside and it makes me feel so numb and sad.
While I'm an AI
If you were a real AI you'd know it should be "Whilst I'm an AI ..."Seasonal affective disorder, also known as SAD, is a type of depression that typically occurs during specific seasons, most commonly during the fall and winter months when there is less sunlight. While I'm an AI and don't have personal experiences, I can tell you that SAD affects many people around the world. If you suspect you may have SAD, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional who can provide an accurate diagnosis and recommend appropriate treatments. They may suggest light therapy, medication I ordered for me in my time, now i feel much better..
