I'm still rewatching with my now-just-a-good-friend and we literally just had the episode where Donna had to get mind wiped and Davros was in it. The unintentional timing of it all and seeing him in the CiN special as if it's just the next episode is making my head spin.
Keeping him in the dark... or trying... is all the more difficult at the moment when I'm itching to bring this up

I hope we get more of a McCoy to McGann handover where he gets a bit more time - we've been teased for Gatwa enough already to not have him pop up for 10 seconds and then be told "Doctor Who will be back in the Autumn"

I think we'll see a decent bit of him in these three specials, but even if we don't it's okay - his first proper episode is only a month (and one day) away!

We have a pretty credible rumour about a new spin-off, and I don't think anyone would have predicted THIS as the premise:

We’re having a Doctor Who evening chez Jiva to celebrate. Starting with the new special, then the Daleks in colour, then a choice of Mr Jiva’s depending on how much he’s hated those two (so probably an old Tom Baker one or the 90s TV movie) and finally finishing with K-9 AND COMPANY

This is the longest we've had to wait for a new episode of Doctor Who since 2005! And it's easily the most excited I've been to watch a new ep since during the Matt Smith era.

I enjoyed that. Total nonsense of course, but RTD pulls off nonsense so much better than his (pre)successors

LOVED THAT. Brilliant frothy RTD-Who fun.

Many a highlight, but my stand out moments -

- A mention for the awful Nerys!!
- Everything about The Meep. Adorable little monster.
- The way they dealt with Rose being trans in a way that felt real, with deadnaming from the shits on bikes and Sylvia worrying she was being clumsy with her wording, and Donna being a total lioness of a mum. And I liked how it was woven in to Donna being saved at the end.

- "We all have!"
- the new TARDIS interior
