Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale

I thought this was so bad. And not in the 'but still watchable' way the previous two films were.

90% exposition from characters who no longer have any story left in them and - crucially - are not Maggie Smith.

I liked the gays though

I didn't mind this too much. OK the stakes were insanely low, Dame Mags was sorely missed & Mary turned into LADY EXPOSITION but I still got a bit misty eyed at the handover chat between Daisy & Mrs Patmore.

Of course the ideal film would have been Thomas discovering the between wars gay scenes across Europe with copious & lingering nude scenes, but ONE CAN'T HAVE EVERYTHING.
