This was rather aggravating. I just don’t like Scarlet and I don’t like seeing her do well.

Also the way they keep harping on about elevated looks. Either give them some money to spend or looks or just say you want rich queens. I felt Electra was treated unfairly. M

Still stanning Anita.
 
I love Anita and Kita.

Both performances were good and nobody did badly. I agree that it's annoying seeing Scarlet do well.

I like that Ru is being forced to actually give critique due to the lack of guest judges.

The lip sync was great. Sad Coco left. I think I preferred her.
 
I feel like I’m on autopilot when watching drag race nowadays.

I like Electra the most and I can’t believe she was in the bottom just because she was outshining the rest.

I’m only tolerating Scarlet because I’d want to fuck her. (Sorry for being unPC)

Yeah it’s not exciting anymore. I still watch it all but it’s just there.

I find a week without Drag Race too boring but when I watch it I feel like I’ve already seen it all. But once in a while we get a great cast and glimpses of fun and excitement like we had with UK2 and S13 (during the Tamisha Iman vs Mean Girls episode).
 
Anita was my winner, but I also enjoyed Kita's tribute to Thorgy, Karen's Kelly Marie jump suit runway and Maxi's continuing justice for Jaymes Mansfield. Although I didn't like the gut comment and the drunk slapper schtick can die already.
 
Good episode I thought!

I was glad Maxi got a pass, I thought she was a lot of fun to watch and made the best she could out of the fact she clearly can't sing or dance to save her life. :D

Electra got a raw deal, but she is coming off quite unlikable.

Kita & Anita are the stars of the series for me. Karen From Finance has been weirdly fading into the background. Maybe her name is the best thing she has going for her.
 
Maxi's runway look was SO FUN. I wanted her to be bottom two just to see her perform in it
 
I actually enjoyed that more than before, I feel like the group challenge sort of helped the cast coalesce into something a bit less spiky.

WTF was that weird bit with the note though?! I guess that’s the end of that but how weird.

Etc Etc is probably the least likeable one left for me, and to some extent Scarlet too, just being bitchy twinks looking down on everyone. At least Scarlet seems to have the goods to back it up for now.

and I sort of like Elektra as a scrappy underdog. I can’t see her lasting much longer, but I’m glad she stayed over Coco, who seemed to have confidence way above her ability
 
Oh and CAN we talk about the nerve the gall the gumption etc of RuPaul judging a mini-challenge about saving people from drowning? :eyes: :D!

No wonder he had no idea what to say “Congratulations! You have saved all of the lives.” :hostage:
 
OMG like what, Elektra'a critique was one of the WEIRDEST I can recall on Drag Race :D "you were too good in comparison to the rest, so we are putting you in the bottom" :D

Elektra is by far my fave, as the only one with a discernible PERSONALTY :D Her completely ropey drag is quite endearing too. I agree - either give them a budget for outfits, or say you just want a bunch of Scarlet Adams in the cast. It's not a level playing field.

I like Etc etc too. Karen From Finance appears to just be coasting her way through to the final in a variety of expensive pre-made outfits :eyes: YAWN!

This season has been messy, but fine to watch so far. But I'm hardly FROTHING AT THE MOUTH for the next episode like I was for DRUK, I doubt I'd be even slightly bothered if some technical error meant none of the other episodes in this season were ever released :D
 
Yes Elektra's critique was just STUPID! If she'd done what they suggested you know they'd have been telling her the exact opposite - god forbid a drag queen tries to hog the spotlight :D plus they clearly said they were judging them as individuals, so why does team stuff come into it? :eyes:
 
It definitely felt like it came together more this week, and I'm enjoying it, but I agree - there's some fatigue here. We've just had SO much. How can it not feel diluted across all the Drag Race brands now. It feeds the addicts, and we eat it up, but I think there are longer term effects of that.

Anyway Anita is the clear winner at this stage. It's like Symone levels of walkover, but obviously (like Symone) anything can happen, and I swear we had the dry pussy gag last week.

Scarlet seems a bit awful, I felt guilty begrudging her the win so I'm glad others feel similar.

Elektra was great in the challenge, the critiques were ridiculous, but her runway was rubbish really

Love Maxi and hope she lasts. They undersold her runway/performance I felt, which always rings alarm bells for me that they're not going to be kept around too long. Hope I'm wrong!

There's so much truth in this, however surely it's not all about the $$$. If you're remotely creative and imaginative you can surely come up with better than some of the lame outfits we see.

Maybe I need to rewatch but it's not like Anita's screamed expensive, just very well realised for the task.

Like with Utica, maybe she had some dollar behind her I don't know, but I'm guessing her outfits were amazing because of HER

Some queens just have basic styling that cash can glow up but not make interesting because, well *insert some sort of she hasn't got the range joke*
 
I wonder if this is a theory that pans out, but when she says “You’ll be judged individually” it means that she’s picked the bottom two from different teams, so she’s changed the judging accordingly?
 
Not sure I agree that Anita is running away with it like Symone :D

I don’t think anyone is though, I guess it’s only episode 3 though. Karen appears a shoo-in at least but I agree it’s sort of coasting as the one with the budget, and Snatch Game isn’t the acid test

I also JUST got Anita’s name, “I need to wiggle it”, right? :D I thought it was a drag thing like “I need a wiglet” and I just didn’t know what a wiglet was, like a clip-on bang or something? :shy:
 
Anita is the only one who I have almost no idea what to expect of them each week, therefore is my favourite. I'm worried the producers have already began a heavy handed portrayal of her (did Ru mention she finds her "manic"?) Even when Ru is "volleying" with her it's clear they should just give her free reign without trying to frame it.

Elektra is a dish out of the drag and I don't think they are remotely last in the race. She's not far off Tia Kofi in terms of almost having a dialogue with the viewer if that makes sense - maybe it's just relatable content.

Karen FF (Karen Fist Fun is probably already taken somewhere) is such a placeholder. That verse was on brand, yes, but there was no punchline to the point where I resented the effort I was putting in to make out what she was saying. Default drag.
 
Oh and KFF reminds me of someone facially and it’s been driving me crazy, but I realised it was someone off here
