The Michelle thing sounds highly unlikely to me, I imagine she'll stick with Ru through thick and thin. Quite the mystery as to why they've both done a social media blackout at the same time though!
 
Aggy Dune could be fun, she's from the same scene as Darienne and Mrs Kasha Davis (and Pandora but we won't hold that against her). Kandy Muse is bound to be a mess and a half, too :D
 
OMG I LOVE Kandy Muse! The right mix of mess and actually good at drag.

Big girl + good make up + drama with Aja and Dahlia Sin makes her a bit of an obvious casting choice tbh
 
Could they quarantine the queens and essential crew (Sarge and pals) for a couple of weeks before filming, maybe?
 
Has season 2 of Drag Race UK resumed filming yet? I know the first (and maybe second, according to who you believe) were filmed before production was halted earlier this year.

Yes, I would say this is the most likely scenario although surely staff would have to be in lockdown for the duration of filming unless they were receiving regular tests? They basically already quarantine the queens in their hotels during filming so that's less of an issue.
 
They won’t be able to come back until Ru and Michelle can/are willing to fly over. I’ve read it’s pencilled in for November but that’s just random reddit talk.
 
I think studio-based reality shows are one of the easier to resume filming, as they can just quarantine the contestants for as long as needed and make the crew do this also as part of their contract.

I can't imagine any contestant turning a spot down, even if it means sitting in a hotel room for 2 weeks beforehand.

Yeah, with Big Brother at least, the crew and competitors will all exist in a bubble and won't see anybody else for the duration of filming (or until there's a shift change part-way through)

For Love Island, i'm pretty sure most of the contestants that enter have been living in hotels with limited to no access to the outside world for weeks before they appear.
 
Wasn't there a Big Brother ongoing when the whole global lockdown kicked off and the producers were worrying about whether to inform the contestants?

Yep, Big Brother Canada was pulled a few weeks into the season. BB Australia continued through it though.
 
The contestants are already sequestered anyway, it’s not like they can go anywhere. The crew can wear masks and it’s not like Rupaul gets close or touches the girls.
 
Yeah, there were Reddit rumblings of big changes coming to the show. I wouldn't be surprised if he's given up drag altogether, particularly after the AJ cancellation. It would explain his 'looks' for the end of Season 12. :side-eye:
 
Season 12 was shot way before AJ and the Queen was cancelled.

I just thought it was because he didn't know how to paint, botched surgery OR BOTH :)

How would you ever get to that conclusion?

I prefer the Joseph Shepherd interviews. Far more interesting, although he really needs a new opening question, as effective as it is.
 
I think the interviews can be interesting but usually despite Jonny

Johnny McGovern is a pretty repulsive package. And he clearly stinks.
