Drag Race UK: Season 6

I think it's very easy to be fed up with Blu post-Uk vs World, but her makeup is spectacular.

Keep in mind that she gave us this on a random Season 1 runway with a nothingy Northern Irish budget (she was actually Belfast-based, not London via Belfast):

She's obviously the least adept one there, but I did think there was something quietly quite offbeat and subversive about pretending to go into an exercise routine and then just saying mantras of self-loathing instead :D
 
This is a great cast, if season 6 is the most commonly lauded ‘best season ever’ for the US we might just have our own for the UK here.

So much joy watching this first episode. Immediately loved Kyran, Saki is my Manchester girlie and so proud of how she represented, I met Kiki years ago in Gran Canaria and she was a star then, Chanel gunning for the villain edit obsessed.

Gonna watch it again.
 
A terrific first ep. I had hardly any enthusiasm going in, and then had that torn to shreds as excellent queen after excellent queen - from basically every genre - entered the werk room :disco:

Pleasantly surprising that the UK franchise ran out of good guest judges before it ran out of good queens to compete.
 
I always love the UK seasons and this first episode was great. Shame they had to bring it down with poor Alison at the judging table.
 
So everyone is safe… and I’m not mad, I think it’s a strong cast so it’s good to see more of them but there were/are some clear bottoms, so who do we think will end up gone first?

The Norn queen strikes as a blazingly obvious first out, even if I hope she hangs around for a bit solely so Chanel can bear-bait her some more :disco:
 
Another “season 6” thing is that La Voix is giving me Bianca vibes. Slightly (!) older, multi talented queen who is probably quite acerbic but everyone loves because they generally care for people.
 
Fantastic first episode, a really good mix of queens and apart from Charra Tea, it’s hard to see who is filler.
 
Well this season looks FABULOUS. What a step-up from the IN-BREDS last year!

Only complaint is Alison Goldfrapp channelling Kate Bush.

I find Lill’s whole vibe utterly FASCINATING and I’m desperate to be her friend.
 
"Dita, you've been a little tentative so far". Didn't she literally have an act last week where she said her name 286 times over a hyperpop track? :D
 
The UK queens breaking their ankles every season. :(

It was a good episode. I'm glad we didn't lose either of the bottom two and Lill is wonderful.
 
Chanel in the top three and managing to be pissy about it! That *look* on her face after Marmalade said she was really proud of herself! UK Drag Race truly has its best villain since A'whora here 😍
 
It really should've been a Marmalade win and a saved double shantay for another episode, let's be real. Hate a three-way lip sync (but love a Lill win)
 
A Kyran/La Voix/Lill/Rileasa final four really would be utterly DREAMY :disco: (with Chanel a cute cunty 5th, having been history's greatest monster in every episode up until then)
 
Aww Marmalade deserved that win. What a professional queen. But going with Lill just to spite Chanel is almost just as good.

Chanel is such a bitter cunt :D The bitch is pressed about EVERYTHING.
