Drag Race UK: Season 6

Thought that was going to be a double shantay coz I definitely didn’t think that Rileasa won that lip sync.
 
Ru really needs to stop messing with their pre planned choices

Rileasa was one of the worst I’ve seen

I’d have had Lill and Marmalade in the top 3 (great runways)
 
Lill’s runway look was absolutely jaw dropping :D

Ru was half-right about Charra. If she’d just done Nadine Coyle it would have been good-great. I suspect her Mary Poppins would have bombed.

Thought La Voix and Kyran were great. Yes we’ve seen Liza before but I felt La Voix was the best it’s been done to date.

I thought it was the best UK snatch game they've done? Helped by most being terrible but still.

I was ready to pull my hair out after the walk through but in the end we got a really good top two, plus Lill as Victoria was funny and probably should have been top three. Charra I get however as she really got the most possible out of what she had and what Ru asked of her.

Otherwise Marmalade was really cerebral which makes it hard to ever find her funny, but she had a couple of good lines, Actavia was perfectly fine by Snatch Game standards, Channel was very bad, and Releasa was horrid which is important to have in snatch game.
 
I think I probably wasn't able to get over the walk through like you were, @Roe, so i then found the game itself pretty tedious and was eyerolling throughout.

Ithought Kyran was pretty good. But also as if I was being directed to find her great, and she wasn't.

Kyran and La Voix really have been set up as Adore/Bianca, as some said quite a few weeks ago, haven't they? I wonder if we'll get a filmed double crowning.
 
Rupaul is insufferable! I can even imagine Actavia went for the Welsh dragon based on previous interventions by Ru -see Jonbers and the Irish character.
But no, Rupaul now decides based on a single ‘Hee hee’ seen on stage that Actavia should do Michael Jackson.
 
And to think Jinkx very nearly did Liza and Judy but decided against it and went for Natasha McElhone instead.
 
That Lil runway may be my favourite of ALL TIME.

Absolutely fuming Chanel has been banished back to the cruel craggy outcroppings. She destroyed Rileasa in that lip sync!
 
I don’t know what show everyone here was watching but Chanel absolutely didn’t win that lip sync!

I also thought Lill’s snatch game was a bit hit and miss (although she did provide an all time iconic runway look that should absolutely have been given more attention).
 
Ru’s interventions are getting increasingly maddening, so kudos to Charra Tea for taking the advice and just doing something really knowingly silly with it. She’s also quicker than I’d given her credit for.
 
Also it was blindingly obvious that they were setting it up for a double win, but I though La Voix was streets ahead in the challenge and on the runway.
 
I thought this was a really good episode. RuPaul does need to STFU with his pointless 'advice' though. The show's success has mythicized him as some kind of spiritual entertainment oracle, and it's very cringe.

With the exception of Chanel and Releisa, I thought they all did fairly well.

Lill's runway was nightmarish :disco:

Marmalade still my fave though. That runway was something else. The corset work was beautiful.
 
Holden seems to play well to a non UK audience.

We need to encourage that.

Marmalade is THE best runway queen from UK imo. Awhora is the only one I can think of who comes close.

And Jonbers too obviously, but we all know and agree on that.
