Dua Lipa - Club Future Nostalgia (Remix album)

fuck that's a good tracklist and selection of collaborators. bet the madonna collab is the worst thing on it. and that's not even that bad.

This bitch is giving everyone a run for their money!

WTF Gen Hoshino remix?? Just to spill some Japanese green T but he’s an actor/singer who does fun city-pop tracks, and some big pop hits, but he’s mostly an actor. Never heard of him as a remixer :o

they pushed it by a week - you obviously don't read my posts

looks promising but the real question is will it top Born This Way - The Remix?

August 28th so competing with Katy and Texas. I fear for her. :(
:D

I think Katy will actually be ahead of Dua - there are no physicals of Club Future Nostalgia so it will just be a small streams bounce from the 5k or whatever Dua is selling each week. She might climb to #5 or something. Katy should be top 2

extra time needed to work on animated visuals apparently. I wouldn't BOTHER if i were THEM

OH MY GOD.

The horse meat mix of Love Again and the Cosmic Girl mix are phenomenal

Love Is Religion 13/10 :disco: The choir! Gwen sounds amazing on the more laidback, sultry Physical.

Dua has snapped

I really wasn’t hyped about it at all to begin with but this really is exceptional.

Club.Future.Nostaligaaaa. That run of Love Again, Break My Heart/Cosmic Girl into Levitating is too much

Haven't listened in full yet but Love Again and Physical mixes are great, and That Kind of Woman is fab, but LOVE IS RELIGION is truly THE ONE :disco: holy shit!

I actually cannot get over Love Is Religion. Why was this not the single from this project?!

I can be your MUSE
I can be your ALLY
I can be your MOOD
I can be your SACRIFICE

:disco:

The full remix album is really, really enjoyable and so well mixed.

The Love Again remix from Horse Meat Disco is absolutely BLINDING!

This is all pretty great but it really steps up from the Horse Meat Disco remix onwards. Love Is Religion is ridiculously good.

Are we getting the unmixed tracks for these? In some cases they are very necessary.

FINALLY got round to giving this a listen - it's cute. Deffo something nice to put on when the boys come round and turn up/turn down at appropriate moments. It definitely has some WEAK SPOTS (cough Mark Ronson remix, and that unnecessary Hollaback Girl sample cough), but I'm also WELL AWARE it's not been designed to listen to like you would a traditional album, so I'm happy to overlook most of them.

From some of the reaction online, I feel they may have slightly OVERHYPED this release as some people seem inevitably disappointed.

Love Is Religion is obviously the big talking point here, despite the 90s Dannii Minogue production in its current from :D
I really hope they go ALL OUT with a big LAP homage for its inevitable release as a single from a Future Nostalgia repackage. NOW is the time for Dua to take a risk with a ridiculous statement single, and whether it works or not it will be fun to watch it play out :disco:

Dua is blessing us this Friday with an unmixed version of CFN including full length remixes and a Kaytranada Remix of Don't Start Now as a new addition (Kiss & Make Up duly removed)
