5SOS sold a lot of bundles online which would have gone straight onto their figure on day 1. I'm assuming Dua's physicals won't hit her total until next week as they're still out on Friday (?).

One week a nation clapping on its doorsteps for the NHS. The next week denying this album #1.

Truly this pandemic is revealing the very best and worst in us.
 
She may catch up? She sold 3k to their 600 today, so with streaming being a day behind in midweeks that may give her a chance?
 
I wonder how many copies of the 5SOS album Rita Ora has bought so far?
 
4.6k sold yesterday (presumably with HMV's vinyls etc counted) to 5SOS's 640 copies. She'll get that #1.

Someone on UKmix stating 5SoS had 17k from pre-orders, and that by end of Saturday had sold 18.5k to Dua's 9k. So surely she's got this...

oh I absolutely AGREE. They'll go with something subdued next before moving on to the eventual re-release come Fall 2020 (If we survive that is) with the left overs that have been quietly leaking like the Normani duet or the Troye Sivan one.

In other words she will do Hallucinating dirty just like Ariana did with Greedy :evil:

Oh she simply MUST TAKE OVER.
 
Good In Bed is totally one of the lesser songs on the album but it does worm its way into your head. I think it is the delivery of the PLE-E-E-E-ASE bit in the chorus that is the worst thing about it.

Some of those leaks are very good completely fitting with the sound of the album. Peak Kylie has been mentioned and I guess the quality cuts escaping the vaults is just something else they have in common.
 
I did find Good In Bed a little bit annoying on first listen. It hasn't quite turned that corner for me but frankly, so what? I'm a grumpy cow in her mid 40's, hardly her target market...

The cassettes were issued in bundles of 3 with different coloured shells for £11.99 as well as separately.
 
I think I'll treat myself to the hot pink vinyl. :disco: (I don't have a player)
 
From an interview with her management company in Music Week:

Once this first bit is done, what’s next for Future Nostalgia?

“That’s the most important point: this is an album campaign for the next two or three years and her touring. It’s a brilliant, brilliant pop album and it will stand the test of time because she’s gone for some of the classic tropes of the best pop music of the last 50 years. It’s really exciting; it’s definitely about the long game with Dua. It took a long time to get to the position she was in on the first album and it feels likes her ascent has been quite fast for a new artist, we all know how long it takes in the current climate. It’s not just about week one, it’s about the next two to three years, we want her to be doing stadiums, globally.”
 
i'm here for a 7 video campaign though they had better be more physical than the other two :evil:

new single for a deluxe in the new year

but wouldn't object to Pretty Please EITHER!
 
i would like levitating in may, cool in june, hallucinate in august and b-sides in september with three new videos.

I'm really into it now. It's not top 5 on the album but the bridge into the chorus is divine and it does seem like a ready made smash. Apparently it's 28 on US pop radio already, which sounds impressive
