both her outfit choices and some are her mannerisms are already becoming a bit Vegas showgirl so I expect she'll be camp as TITS by the age of 30

of course she'll have been retired by pop radio by then and will literally be a Vegas showgirl making mint :disco:

that's the tensnake mix. it is one of my favourite songs this year *.*

the cat suit? those booties! bin the stylist.

she has a superb musical director for this show. all the mixes so sparkly and on point.

I'm actually CRYING HAPPY TEARS that she bust out the ICONIC post-chorus drop CHOREO!

that was really really really good. just a lovely POP CELEBRATION very well put together. she's living her best life. perfect Friday night lockdown entertainment :disco:

on a completely unrelated note, moopy moop @ 10 for Jark.FM girls :eyes:

WELL THAT WAS FUN!

When does Jark.FM start I’m setting the Argentinian and wanna squeeze in a tug first. x

Really enjoyable and impressive that she only dropped in New Rules from the first album and it felt like such a strong set.

I thought Love Again was her favourite song, or am I inventing that?

That was great. For someone who released a dance album in a year when nobody could go out, she's really made the most of it and this is another example of her really making it work

Absolutely LOVED EVERY SECOND OF THIS! What a STAR! And the execution and art direction was absolute PERFECTION!

Fave moments, apologies if already mentioned as haven’t read the thread:
- Dua WRITHERING ON THE FLOOR giving as much as she can to the key moment of Physical, whilst THE BLESSED MADONNA and her dancers sort of awkwardly bopping around in the background :disco:
- A clearly FIRED UP Kylie Minogue giving just a little TOO MUCH in the best possible way
- Said FIRED UP Kylie clearly STANDING ON A BOX behind the DJ booth to hide her lack of height in comparison to Dua :D
- The nod to the iconic FISH-ESQUE One Kiss dance routine at the start of Don’t Start Now :D
- Cool sounding and looking like a modern day classic - service to radio ASAP!
- Dua looking like an absolute SUPERSTAR during the Future Nostalgia opening perf, and making a song I find meh ESSENTIAL
- The random ANSWERING OF THE PHONE during New Rules :D
- Elton John turning up to kill EVERYONES BUZZ, FUCK OFF ELTON
- That FINAL OUTFIT! Was it Roxxxy Andrews COUTURE or India Ferah MESS? I’m not sure, but loved it all the same.

Loved every moment, want to watch it again immediately. AN ICONIC CAREER DEFINING MOMENT!

Now get the perf for Future Nostalgia and Cool on youtube NOW!

Physical was such a hot mess that was also an incredible MOMENT, so perfect for the song. I CANNOT and WILL NOT get over Dua’s writhering! QUEEN!

Like a young Nigella, now WHERE is THAT COLLAB?

it is.

she must be saving it for a Grammy's perf.

*manifests*

I jumped into this about 15 minutes in (code still worked, thanks @Jark) so had to rewind, but that was an ASTONISHING pop show. The level of production, variation in sets, all the subtle details, I was not expecting it for some reason. So worth 7 quid.

Dua was a PERFECT STAR, beautiful, amazing costumes and really performed like the best of the best at the top of their game. The vocals/stage presence/choreo - all 10/10. I know she hasn't got the biggest voice but she had control throughout and did a stellar job, and the more vocal moments like "Cool" were surprisingly strong. I will never be mean about her again!

And it just never let up from start to finish! Not a single dud, she never let us get bored, apart from Elton being an unnecessary distraction and the Miley video (and I don't like "One Kiss" but whatever). Given she's only on album number 2 and we had ONE song from the first, the strength of this played like a greatest hits set it was that strong. There really isn't anyone quite like her at the moment, you could never lump her in with any other basic given the same songs.

A classic pop show in every way

Although yes, the lack of "Love Again" was surprising. I'd have swapped out "Pretty Please" (did she sing that?!) instead I think.

Everything about Physical and the fact she tried not to let it end was the definition of a HAPPY GAY POCKET IN TIME.

A mashed Kylie getting Real Groove into the set list was bizarre and incredible too

So I watched it a third time. Any criticism that I previously had that she lacked stage presence - fuck me she's worked on that aspect and then some! She's still not 100% natural but hey she's still young and has years to master her craft.

For me Don't Start Now was the absolute highlight in all its euphoric glory.

The camera panning back at the very end revealing Kylie in the dressing room segment roundly applauding warmed my heart a little too.

Kylie's appearance was surely a nod to the elder disco stateswoman Diana Ross jumping onto the decks of Studio 54, no?

WELCOME TO THE TEAM

I've resisted for so long. Tbh it's her countless features that I've found a bit cumbersome even thigh I think Future Nostalgia is largely an exceptional record.

She was lacking IT in performances before but this has won me over.

5 million viewers apparently! Not sure if this means they sold 5 million TICKETS to the livestream, but surely a HUGE SUCCESS - artistically AND financially.
