The first day in forever when I have nothing major to do. I am aware this will come to a crashing end in just a couple of weeks when I go professional, so trying enjoy it while I can by beautifying our new pad and some light shopping.
 
My plans are scuppered. I'm in the office and it's expected to be fairly quiet today. So I brought in a book. Then the big boss sat about 10 feet away from me.

Bollocks.
 
This is a public holiday weekend here, and am on a shift as in every other public holiday.
But at least am still working from home, so am also cleaning the house thoroughly in between. :D

still got a few nights in Tokyo, the rain just doesn’t stop. Summer is usually a relentless 30-35+ degrees, but it’s been low 20s, never had a summer like it here :o, seems like it’s going back to normal midweek next week.

well it’ll stop raining, South-west Japan is totally fucked, never seen floods like this
 
Dunelm happened and honestly I'm content at most, with the mirror we bought.

I have been to visit the little lady that lived up the road from me today in the home, and she has gone downhill quite quickly. She seemed happy to get a visitor although I don’t think she actually knew who I was. :(

In better news I am getting WINED AND DINED this evening by my beautiful bedfellow, so I really should start making myself LUSH.
 
I am going to GLENEAGLES I will have you know! Pity I have a mouth like the channel tunnel and tend to make an absolute riot of myself, but so what? I’M NOT PAYING.
 
Not sure if this is just a local thing, but what is it with every second cafe now deciding it's also a plant shop? I don't need fern fronds dangling in my macchiato froth, thanks all the same.
