I'm on an extra early bus across the country to the airport, I hope I'll get there before the fuel protesters are blocking the roads again. I've had 3 hours of sleep and have about 14 hour ahead of me until I'm (hopefully) at my family home.

I always feel like travel days don't require much sleep and then I always regret that.

good morrow, young birdlings! it's going to be another day in the history of days. I have to meet a friend who's leaving Paris today for coffee soon, then the arsenal game kicks off at lunch, then I'm going to some unknown POPUP with a friend, and tonight finally I will crawl back into my cave and hide this world weary face after all this week's social exertions.

Also have a long day of travel ahead. I expect to leave my apartment in an hour and will be in my bed at midnight 🙃
 
Supposed to be joining Mr L at a record fair, but decided to have a coffee in the cafe just along the road to minimise the boredom. The barista is quite possibly the most beautiful man I've ever seen in the flesh. Like a younger and shorter Nyle DiMarco. Think I'll have to switch to decaffeinated and have another.
