Eastenders 2023

Taking a guess over Linda’s upcoming story. Could it be that she starts talking to Mick as a ghost? They keep saying on Valentine’s Day she’ll be speaking to his photo like he’s still a presence in the room.
 
Did anyone see Patsy Palmer on The One Show. They asked her about a Bianca return and she was very coy, and Matt Evers had to step in and change the subject which to me made it look like she is definitely on her way back.
 
I presume Tameka Empson is allowed to ad lib. That or she has her own writer. Kim has been on fire recently. Miaowing her way through Lola's massage was too much.
 
How is Lola Billy's grandkid? Is it through Lola's dad, he obviously doesn't know her mum.
 
Yeah, as I recall Billy fathered a child in his mid teens without knowing. His son (Lola's dad) later died, which is what led Lola to go looking for Billy.

I'd love a Bianca return, I think Patsy's quite a good actress

I haven't seen this since new year is it worth catching up?
 
Convenient little loophole yesterday for Sonia to avoid paying Inheritance tax. They didn’t mention the value of the house, but considering the location I actually doubt it doesn’t exceed the threshold.

Either way, Sonia has been living rent free in that house for years. I know she’s a nurse, but aside from bills and council tax, her general outgoings can’t be that much. She’s got no student debt and as far as I know, Bex is quite self sufficient. She could have probably easily mortgaged that house to pay off the tax.
 
I'm sure the house was valued at £1.5 million or something ridiculous. That's why Dotty got so angry about not getting anything in the will.
 
Just read that Whitney's baby is going to be diagnosed with Edwards syndrome, can't she get a break and a happy ending? :(

That is news! He's popped back before but not for a couple of years now. Presumably related to both Whitney's pregnancy AND his impending grandfather-hood :o

I was getting really confused with Sonia's new lodger, he looks so much like Zack's former friend - at first I thought it was the same guy using an alias for some reason, even though it wouldn't make any sense :D

There was an article in The S*n suggesting Sonia, Reiss and the other lodger would become a throuple. It was mainly fan suggestion though.

I do feel sorry for Danielle Harold. She’s one of the best actors on the show and she’s losing her guaranteed income. It would be different if she had decided herself she wanted to leave instead of being sacked.

I wonder why she is getting such a good exit story and all the others who had been axed were gone with a day or two of their final storylines.
 
She could live in one of Jack Branning's studio flats, he wouldn't put up with any nightmare neighbour situations :o
 
Just found out that no photos of Boots exist online! If you google "boots the cat eastenders" you get pictures of Puss In Boots and a few like this:

I think it’s perhaps more the case that this is a story they really wanted to do (with eyes on awards season no doubt), but the inevitable outcome is that the character in question is written out.

Danielle Harold drew the short straw as someone who could do it justice, but also dispensable in their eyes.
 
I guess they’re going for a tragic as possible angle. Girl with a terrible upbringing who has got her life together with a young daughter.

They could have done it with Honey, probably the sweetest person on Albert Square but even that seems incessantly cruel as I’m not sure how they’d manage to explain to Janet (and Grace) without it being difficult and hard to watch.
