EastEnders 2025

Much better episode tonight with minimal Zoe, and a whole lot of Truman-Fox drama.

I know all of the fuss and media focus has inevitably been about Zoe, but honestly I've found Anthony the more intriguing return.

Even with the baby mystery, everything about Zoe's return has felt quite PREDICTABLE (scowl, scream, tell Kat she's a horrible person, feud with the Watts', be a Hayley Slater misery queen). Anthony is less obvious.

E-Laine's boutique hotel hasn't disappointed. Thank goodness former EE actress Kelly Bright is back.

I am very concerned that the Ian and Lauren storyline is going to end up in the most disgusting sight.

That would be absolutely appalling if they went down that route. I do think that Adam Woodyatt and Jacqueline Jossa work fantastically together, but DEAR GOD not like that…
With the way it's going, that underwhelming storyline isn't bubbling for nothing to happen at Xmas.

Well Max is coming back shortly so it’ll presumably kick off but not necessarily in that icky way.

Even Ian and Elaine being paired off (which I’m not keen on either but there have also been hints at) would be preferable to a piece of utter character assassination like that.

This Lauren Branning stealing the charity money reminds me of the old Arthur Fowler storyline.

Today's ending would have been quite something if they hadn't mentioned her name several times previously and released a press release weeks ago :disco:
Frantically looking for a cab made it all the more obvious. I suppose it was a good way to do it, because Dot and Peggy are the characters who had way more of a connection to Nigel in the 90s.

Jessie Wallace has suggested it's the most sensational Christmas story she's been involved in. Then I can't remember many Slater Christmas events aside from marrying Alfie and the Max-Stacey fallout.

The reveal at the was end tonight was so satisfying. This week has been fantastic but the build up to who Jasmine was speaking to was a big WOW moment. :disco:

Everybody watch RIGHT NOW, so we can discuss, because I can't quite remember all the dynamics.

They really do know how to ruin things that could be huge gags. It's a bit "OH OK" after Sharon's prison stint. I'm also expecting Tanya to be walking around the square like she's been there for months in Max's New Years Day flash forward episode.
