EastEnders 2025

The Chrissie stuff was great but also weirdly felt like it didn’t belong to the episode and plot whatsoever…

Yes, the whole episode was disjointed. They should have focused on one main storyline, either Chrissie or Anthony

So is Anthony actually dead? I kept assuming they’d go back and find him missing, but clearly not. And Zoe didn’t actually do anything, so who did? Unless Kat did it.

What was Chrissie’s actual intention too? Scare Zoe for weeks on end to confront her on Christmas Day, reveal her daughter to her and just leave?

Max and Cindy? Typical.

Yes this was my initial thought to, I just assumed Kat would look back and he'd not be there. I didn't think he was DEAD, DEAD. But maybe he is.

I like Chrissie as a character but it was all very ghost like - like she was being brought back like Pat was. I agree the episode didn't gel together well, but I did kinda enjoy it and the Beale Branning meal was very amusing :D

A lot of reviews saying the Xmas special was all over the place. First Xmas episode with the new producer.

It's generally poor at the moment. Several great characters wasted.

I've given her a greater chance than most, but the return of Zoe just isn't it.

I think Zoe's fine now but does not need to be the main storyline after NY

The character is just so inconsistent, yet played pretty the same in every scene. At no point is she giving me terrified despite being described as that by Kat.

I watched it on iplayer early. Maybe 5 million others did too

Schitts Creek Yes GIF by CBC

They still haven't actually said he's dead? At the scene they said unresponsive male, and they didn't show what was said to Patrick exactly.

Yes all very fishy, we've seen no usual body bag either

I don’t know why I keep reading this as I haven’t watched anything yet. My plan tomorrow when everybody leaves was to watch it all, but I’m not quite sure I can be bothered? 🤷‍♀️

I was doubtful but I’m pretty sure he’s dead. It would be a weird twist to hold back for days especially as the focus will shift to the Beales and Brannings next week.

It is a really odd plot though. It seemed like there was quite a bit to reveal with Anthony.

Oh and why does Cindy hate Max?

Didn't he have part in killing her son and he slept with Lucy. So i'm gathering she knows of him but does not recognise him...not very realistic but.. :D

I totally forgot about Abi Jr, presumably that was the child Raine was always fussing over and pushing around in a pram?

But then why the whole build up with his ex wife and all that drama if it wasn't going to lead anywhere?!

I'm watching tonights early and I am sure its not much of a spoiler but I am laughing at just how many punches/slaps/smacks Max has endured since his return :D
