EastEnders 2026

The ending yesterday was quite predictable. But would a drink driver serving 8 months really be mixed in with serial killers?
No but it didn’t stop them sticking Sharon in the cell next door to Chrissie for kicking off a bit in court.

Stir up trouble ✅
Send shockwaves through the square ❔

Only in Eastenders do families composed entirely of grown adults move around together like this :D

Only on Eastenders do families insist they must live on the EXACT SAME STREET to have contact with each other.

Five blocks away? YOU SHAN'T HEAR FROM US FOR TEN YEARS (or until you need to be written out)

Liking the look of the diva behind the dog tbf

Also [googles the age of the son and can't find anything concrete] nothing else to say here actually

He looks to be in quite regular work according to his iMDB. So I expect he'll be murdered in the Vic at Christmas 2027

Not surprised. Totally sidelined once the Six plot died down, with no obvious direction in mind for her. Everytime they briefly toy with expanding her orbit (Max, Alfie), they pull away and she's left floating without purpose.

I always got the sense of the show treading water with her until they could convince Danny Dyer to come back. And she's too good an actress to waste like that.

Kellie Bright is such a talented actress I hope she does a few high profile dramas etc when she leaves. But I feel she'll be back in a few years Linda is a great character she's crafted

I did wonder if it tied in with the Janine comeback but she must still be around at New Year for the Max storyline, unless this is yet another thing that’s messed with that. Sounds like it’s been in the making for a while though.

I can see Johnny following her

Elaine might get a reprieve if the Ian pairing takes off, but the Peacocks/Carter clan are essentially done.

I mean I know Gray is a wrong un. But visually nice to have had him on our screens for a bit.

I’m loving Nicolas family. Reminded me a bit of when The Slaters rocked up all those years ago.

Johnny is also leaving, so that's pretty much the end of the Carters.

Not sure what I think about Nicola's family. The mum is certainly intriguing.

Elaine Lordan didn't end on good terms with the show, so I doubt it'll happen without a recast

And why bother when Belinda is waiting right there
