Easter Sunday is a rascal whore

No hay fever for me today. Took a precautionary antihistamine. I think I may still be hungover.
 
I had a bit of a sneezing fit from the blossom on my daily run yesterday and I'm pretty sure some of the passers by were SECONDS from calling the cops.
 
That's an exaggeration - I was well fuzzy when I awoke this morning so I just went back to sleep, Feel OK now but I'm working tomorrow and will likely struggle to get a decent kip.
 
God I’m BORED. I’m literally sat here holding a bottle of gin debating whether to open it because there is NOTHING BETTER TO DO.
 
I’ve put the lamb on and done a clue based egg hunt with ron jr. Once I’ve planted some spuds it’ll be time for a beer because thats what life is now
 
I'm a bit sad today. Today is normally a family day. I did briefly just see my folks earlier, but it's not the same chatting to them sat in a car for 2 minutes.

My parents broke lockdown for a drive and waved up at the balcony. It made me strangely sad.
 
I'm not really registering today as Easter, or even a Sunday to be honest. I've just put some aftershave on to cheer myself up though. It feels good to smell like a slut, even I can't be one.
 
I've seen my mum as often as I normally would - twice a week. But dropping shopping off on her door mat, ringing the bell and then retreating down the lobby to chat for a short while isn't the same. Last time I went she had put a deck chair out on the landing and a cup of coffee waiting for me.

I did that Friday to sit in my tent.
 
Now my neighbours are having a party in the garden, at least two other car loads of people have turned up
 
I'm slightly annoyed at both my brother and sister, actually (although, NOTHING NEW THERE, really). Neither of them have offered my mum as much support as I feel they should be doing. In fairness the older grandchildren are being fantastic, but I think they think that lets them off the hook, and I think that's rather poor.

There was a house party happening over the road from me when I was on my way home from work. At least 3 families and all their kids there too. They have a basement flat so were out in their front porch, making it completely obvious.

Pricks.

My oldest brother does Fuck all for my parents- lives two streets away and goes in the week before each of their birthdays and Christmas (so he doesn’t have to endure bumping into me or my other brother) and that’s it. His adult children are the same. My middle brother has put his back out so it’s all on me at the moment to look after them- my oldest brother hasn’t even been in/ phoned/ done anything. I haven’t seen him in 5 years or so now, but I am tempted to go round and kick off. It’s fucking disgusting.

One of them hit my neighbours car as they arrived, so there's just been a bit of a to do just now as our camera captured it. Don't want to make it obvious that it's us reporting it

It could be anyone in the street. Don't you have an anonymous form to report it online? I though most councils did now.

I get your concern, but this is bigger than clipping a car.
 
Surely the people whose car got hit will be the obvious suspects. It's the perfect frame job.

Yeah this - I mean if they're driving, there's an extra danger if there's drink. It's got to be a police job. Sorry. :(

I had a couple of people doing this in the first few days but it dawned on them pretty quickly that this was not on.
 
They had their music blaring out before the chat outside, Mr Star did go out to support our other neighbour so they know we're involved. The music has gone quiet now (which is a first for them), so I'm wondering if they realise we're onto them.

Actually for us it is Avon and Somerset Police, rather than the council. Although if it's something which is actually going on now, I think you can probably also phone 101.
 
I checked the police website and it does say unless it's an emergency, please refrain from calling them.
