Clearly there's a sigificant step down in terms of his ability to dominate the streaming charts. It'll be interesting to see how the album sales stack up to his most recent commercial release.
Realistically though, he had ten years from + to =, wherein he was absolutely the dominant force in chart music. Disregarding Take That, that's a roughly equivalent stretch that took Robbie Williams from Life Thru a Lens to Rudebox. It's the kind of career that means even if he never recaptures the zeitgeist again, he's pretty much guaranteed to be a major draw for the rest of his (and our) lives.
