I have been generally updated by an official source that it is not exactly the end of Enya as a musical entity; it's just something from last year was finalised; getting rid of that company/part of it. not liquidation after all. Phew

Not exactly an update after all these recent updates, but there was some recent video interview with Rob Dickins, timestamped at the Enya-related discussion [11:46-16-31]


It's nice that Rob Dickins helped the trio a lot, and genuinely liked her music, but:

• Did Nicky Ryan actually encourage Rob to make Enya herself super famous?
• Is Rob okay "young Dublin housewife"
• Why are these guys almost speaking on behalf of her life choices

I do recall reading something about Enya actually telling him off during the Watermark photoshoots.

Being recognized at a restaurants is the very last thing Enya wants...

I don't think Enya exactly 'became' the music either. She seems to have always destined for something greater than what everyone else was doing.
The soft, ethereal image helped, but her stubbornness and determination are innate.

Though she procrastinates, Enya definitely writes/composes her own music.


That's actually more definite than her singing all of it (she does sing nearly everything, but Nicky did some of the lower vocals before).
