Haha I doubt it. :D For some reason I see Sade more likely to be Enya's friend than Kate Bush.
 
But anyway about the footage I sense that Dan (Nicky and Roma's son-in-law) might release some of the behind-the-scenes footage from Amarantine onwards

I remember just randomly search Enya (as Eithne) and these new pictures emerging 🤩

It was so nice to see considering her brother had passed the winter before...hopefully we might see Enya again in a few months' time, at a much more uplifting event, like on this day in 2022. 😌 💗
 
I only just realised this now (not sure how long they've existed) but on Spotify there's these videos with narration

It's called Control, part of The New Music Show on RTÉ 2FM, with 4 episodes 2-3hrs long roughly 30 mins each each that focus on the Irish/Irish-descent female artists as producers. :cool:

Looking forward to hearing some interview segments in better quality, etc.. 🤩

This was 'new' (from the 80s :D but seems previously unheard online. (And wrong date haha 16th not 26th 😅)

It's in Irish, still lovely to listen to Eithne speak! 🥰



(also cleared up audio by myself as RTÉ hadn't quite done it haha)

She sounds much more Gaoth Dobhair Ulster from whenever this is; the way she says synthesiser sounds more like how her family would say it. 😃
 
A Box of Dreams (the 2023 vinyl version) has finally been reduced to something I'd pay (if I collected vinyl) 😅
Rarewaves reduced price still a lot though

I got the CD version for about £20 like new condition on Vinted; the booklet art is very beautiful. :love:🎨
 
'The kids' are educated enough to know it's not "fly away" but "sail away" ⛵️

And Enya's perfume is (or was) "exotic", not vanilla. :D

Haha nice find! If eBay hadn't banned me (and if it's not really overpriced) I'd try and get a copy. I have Q magazine from 1987, Lookin, and Smash Hits from 1989. :disco:
 
That's incredible! Enya actually stepped out in public! There were so many people around, surely someone asked if a new album is on the way!
Is there any video of this?

Not exactly to my taste either, but it's good they care about young artists as well as those like Enya leaving a major legacy. It must be a nice atmosphere for Eithne especially as she is welcomed either way and they hopefully don't pressure her about having to be there or not. 💛
