I’m less bothered by the music and more bothered by the amount of HUMANS there’ll be about. Honestly all I’m thinking about is the crowds. Not the visitors but all the locals descending onto the city at the same time
I think it’s going to be rammed pretty much wherever you go. Usually the host cities are busy, but it’s never usually detrimental, but I think this year is an exceptional case as interest is higher than it’s probably ever been for a host country.

Exactly. And the U.K. treating it like our triumphant return to Eurovision relevance (which I suppose it is)

It’s one of those times I just want to say to the straights THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT BUT BACK OFF NOW

The Euroclub is in a nightclub (Camp and Furnace). The EuroFANSClub is also in a nightclub (some other one). The Euro Village is the outdoor thingy on the pier.

I love that everyone will think they’re next to each other and it’s actually a 30 minute walk to the other side of town

And I to those who haven’t shown the slightest jot of interest previously

:ChiaraWink:
I know what you mean, I’ve been on the Eurovision throne since 1986, but it’s nice to have more followers in our queendom.

Awakening? I’ll be the biggest useless annoying ‘Eurovision Tourist’ ever.

They should get Sanna Marin to announce the Finnish votes now she’s out of a job :disco:

MELODIYA to set up a new UK label and our 2024 act to be chosen from their roster please. That’ll weed out the SICKENING LEFTY FILTH!

God enough of that Rula Lenska person

Moopy works terribly bad for me, is there work in progress or something? Never mind

State approved act….

Politics for you twitter is right-wing op right? 7 people signing a petition is hardly BREAKING NEWS!

I’m mostly concerned about this for the finals as, despite the BBC’s best efforts, there are still many people who are not aware that the semi finals exist. Even among those who are aware of them, there are probably fewer Liverpool locals who give a enough of a shit that they are willing to go into town and get bevvied on a weeknight. And then there are those who avoid the semis because they think watching them “spoils” the final.

Subject to British weather, plan is to do the village for the semis and then I have seated tickets to watch the final at Euroclub.

This from BBC News has caused a bit of a stir, with a whole lot of "the host broadcaster shouldn't be doing this" etc. in the replies.

Our Slovenian KINGS took it well though
